Israelis have been going about their business in Tel Aviv despite looming Iranian missile threats. At one popular beach destination, life continued normally with folk dancing, beach activities, and full seaside brunches.

The threats from Iran come after an alleged Israeli airstrike killed a top Iranian general in Syria last week. American intelligence suggests Iran may retaliate against Israel with missiles and drones.

Yesterday, Iran told the U.S. that it would attack American forces if they got involved in the conflict between the two Middle Eastern nations. According to one U.S. official: “The Iranian message was we will attack the forces that attack us, so don't fuck with us and we won't fuck with you.”

While Israel’s military has ramped up its defenses, the government has not issued special directives to its citizens. The U.S., UK, and France have advised their citizens against traveling to certain areas in Israel.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant: “Our enemies think that they can pull apart Israel and the United States, but the opposite is true—they are bringing us together and strengthening our ties. We stand shoulder to shoulder.”
