Contrary to the stereotype of frivolous spending, millennials are reportedly on track to become “the richest generation in history.” 

In the U.S. alone, those born between 1981 and 2000 are in line for a $90 trillion inheritance over the next 20 years. This shift in wealth is due largely to the property assets accumulated by previous generations, followed by financial investments and cars. 

75% of millennials anticipate an increase in their wealth in 2024, compared to lower expectations among older generations. The transition of wealth could notably influence sustainable investments, with nearly 80% of millennials aiming to reduce their carbon footprint.
